The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is the host trust for the North London Breast Screening Service (NLBSS), Central and East London Breast Screening Service (CELBSS) and the London Administration Hub.
NLBSS offers the opportunity to work in both static and mobile screening sites and screening assessment clinics on a rotational basis. The three static sites are at Edgware Community Hospital, Finchley Memorial and Forest Primary Health Care Centre. The areas covered include Barnet, Brent, Enfield, Haringey, Harrow, and parts of Hertfordshire.
As a group of services hosted by the Royal Free London, we offer one of the largest breast screening units across the national programme, with the opportunity to work across multiple sites in many different geographical locations across London.
Our team consists of advanced practitioners, mammographers, trainee mammographers, assistant practitioners, associate practitioners and associate practitioners carrying out the apprenticeship.
We are always keen to hear from individuals who hold the relevant mammography qualifications, mammographers who are looking to get back into clinical practice or have a keen interest in women’s health and are willing to undertake an apprenticeship in mammography.
This is a flagship service, which is progressive in thinking, friendly and supportive, offering a high quality service to all clients and patients. Our vacant positions offer variety and the opportunity to work in a stimulating and fast developing environment.
