Invitation to Your Breast Screening Appointment
About Your Appointment
If you're between the ages of 50 and 71, you will receive an invitation letter for a breast screening mammogram every three years.
You don't need to contact us as we'll ensure that you receive your invitation at the appropriate time. However, from your 71st birthday, we will not automatically invite you, but you can still request screening every three years by contacting your local breast screening unit. We urge you to continue with your breast screening even after the age of 71 since the risk of breast cancer doesn't stop at that age.
Once you receive your invitation letter, you can book, change, or cancel your appointment online. Please note that you can only use this form if you've received an invitation letter for breast screening. Also, note that we're currently managing appointments no more than six weeks in advance.
We have various convenient locations where you can get screened. Find out more where we screen.
Concerns About Changes to Your Breasts
If you have any concerns about changes to your breasts, please speak with your GP as soon as possible. Please don't wait for an appointment with the screening service.
